He has the ability to talk to anyone about anything, which I imagine will help in his new pursuit to help people along the journey of their personal health & fitness!

 

Andy, Surrey – I trained with Alex for a charity half marathon and completed it with him. The grueling 20k event was made all the easier due to the progressive training plan started well in advance of the event. We used fartlek (speed play) training to help us reach our goals of a sub 2 hour time for completion. A year later he did the same event again, without me, and beat his own time by ten minutes!

 

Chris, London From the moment I met Alex I felt I had made the right decision in employing him as my personal trainer.  He took the time to understand what it was I wanted as a client, as well as to properly explain the different exercises and why they were important to me.  If there was something that didn't work for me, Alex took the time to find out what would.  This has continued to keep things fun and purposeful and has resulted in a strong overall improvement in both my fitness and well-being.  The option for a relaxing dip in the swimming pool is especially welcome after some training sessions!

 

Becky, Brighton  – I had been away in Australia for 2 years travelling and working. Health and Fitness had taken a bit of a back seat. I trained with Alex for 10 weeks and he introduced a wide range of training methods to help me reach my goal, which was ultimately improved fitness, loss of weight and toning through fat loss and muscle gains.

 

He was thorough and informative from the first meeting and postural assessment, and encouraging and proactive throughout all of our fitness session in a local park. We progressed to more complex moves and training programs and also introduced weights – which is something I enjoyed and do more of now.  He was ready to answer my questions about diet and nutrition, rest and reps and sets which all seems very complicated as a beginner. I have since moved to Brighton and joined a gym with the confidence of having a good base level of fitness achieved from training together. I lost weight and felt fitter and stronger in the short time we spent together – as can be seen in the before and after photos. The motivation and encouragement alone made all the hard work worth it. I would definitely recommend Alex as a dedicated trainer.
